GENEVA ROTARY CLUB SCHEDULES CHICKEN BBQ TO FUND SANTA TRAIN RIDES FOR CHILDREN IN NEED

Published by Penny Hankins on

The Geneva Rotary Club Chicken BBQ to benefit the 2018 Santa Train will take place Sunday, June 3, starting at 11 a.m. at the Hotel Exchange, 290 Exchange St.

The proceeds from the chicken BBQ are used to provide Santa Train tickets to children in need. “Each ticket sold will allow a child who could not otherwise afford it to ride the Santa Train in December,” said Dave Cook, chair of the BBQ and co-chair of the Santa Train.

The ticket price is $10. Tickets can be purchased at the Hotel Exchange, from Geneva Rotarians or by calling Dave at 607-279-3152. Last year the barbecue raised $2,500 for ticket donations.
