Student Loan Program

For the past 100 years, the Geneva Rotary Club’s Student Loan Program has assisted hundreds of Geneva High School seniors to further their education. The loan program provides up to $1,500 per year of undergraduate study.

Loan Qualifications

  • Resident of the Geneva City School District.
  • Graduate of Geneva High School.
  • Enrolled in a 2-year or 4-year college or university,

Loan Benefits

  • Loan is interest free and awarded in July preceding the next school year.
  • A loan is available every year the student is enrolled in a 2 or 4 year degree program.
  • Geneva Rotary Student Loan will not decrease a student’s financial aid from the college or university.
  • Repayment of the loan is deferred until the student completes his/her college education.

Loan Repayment

  • Repayment of the loan begins 3 months after graduation from a 2 or 4 year school.
  • The minimum monthly payment of the loan is $100 per month.
  • Payment of the loan can be deferred if the student is continuing at  graduate program or joining the military.
  • There is no penalty for pre-payment of the student loan.
  • If a student drops out of college, minimum monthly payments are required.
